Many dealers in New York can arrange for a state police officer to fire the handgun and submit the necessary documentation – talk to your transferring dealer for more details. Additionally, handguns magazines cannot have more than 10rd capacity. If you purchase a firearm with magazine capacity of more than 10 rounds, the firearm will be shipped without the magazines.
